spent the night at the canyon rim and were able to wake up and watch the
sunrise. it was cold, in single digits, and the sun takes a really long
time to rise.

this is a picture studio that was built on the rim in the early twentieth century. now it is a gift shop. |

jetta did well. we actually had to use the heated windshield washer nozzles.
i feel bad that the jeep didn't get to play in the snow and ice as well.
