Work

I am a Sr. Software Engineering Specialist at IBM working on Rational Software out of the McLean, VA office.

Colleges

I have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and a M.S. in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering.

The Fleet

The Upton's have 3 vehicles. I get them on my page because I'm in charge of maintenance and upgrades.
The Chrysler , the Lexus and the Jeep.

Games I Play

Golf

I love playing golf. My best ever was a generous 99. I generally shoot around 110.

Baseball/Softball

I used to play softball for my church team, Leesburg Presbyterian Church. I usually play outfield, but we haven't had a team for a few years because lack of interest.

I've played over 30 adult baseball as well, but it doesn't really work in my schedule.

Soccer

I play indoor and outdoor soccer and have started coaching my 5 year old son in Loudoun Soccer. I'm a defensive specialist and usually play Goal Keeper since nobody seems to like it and I'm pretty good. Most recently I played indoor at the Dulles Soccerplex. Unfortunately, during the last game of the session I blew out my knee. I tore my ACL and some part of my meniscus. I had surgery on Sept. 8th. (Post Surgery Pictures) It'll be about 9 months before I'm playing soccer again at full speed.
